If so, you know how stressful and chaotic it can feel. Having boxes everywhere, some labeled miscellaneous, having multiple people willing to help but with no job. Its not a welcoming atmosphere. Imagine if you could walk into an organized space where boxes were labeled and moved to that area, clothing unboxed right into your closet the way it came from the old closet, cupboards full of your items and furniture in place for the best flow and ease.

Organizing the furniture and boxes into room categories is super helpful when moving in. When the pieces of furniture are arranged and placed it helps the unpacking of boxes go smoothly. By unpacking all delicate and fragile items early into a cupboard or piece of furniture that are in place, it helps to ensure all your items stay safe.

Moving can be a tiring event, we have found that unpacking in a certain order helps to complete the process efficiently but can also help for everyone to get a good first nights sleep. Setting up the bedroom furniture is usually quick and easy as most clients already know where larger pieces (such as the bed) are going to go. Setting up the kitchen is also important and is usually one of the most time consuming areas, so we do like to get those boxes unpacked near the beginning of the day, moving onto bathrooms and linens, and lastly living areas. The process is altered slightly if there are small kids involved as the toy boxes usually are a high priority to unpack for our little friends.

In our first planning meeting with clients, ideally we like to set out what is most important on move day. Identifying what their needs are is always our first goal. We can alter our process to suit those needs and have everyone settled in quickly. Our usual timeline for 2 team members to unpack is approximately 6 to 8 hours.
Reason #5: Our Unpacking Service Finishes What it Starts
Once you are settled into your space (or at least sitting down) we will leave you to your serene, comfortable, organized space. We take away all the boxes and packaging, any donations that may have popped up, any garbage (think plastic wrapping around sofas). Hopefully also leaving with us is any stress that occurred prior to the move or on moving day.
